1968
Michael McArdle bought his first lorry and started offering reliable transportation services.
1974
Opened first warehousing premises in Inniskeen, Co. Louth, at the request of their client base.
1980
Expanded services to the EU marketplace.
1988
Warehousing portfolio expanded to 7,000 pallet spaces.
1994
Quality Management introduced as warehouses enter Nutritional markets.
1998
Trusted partner to customer leads to problem solving and value added.
2000
Licensing and approval attained from the Department of Agriculture.
2005
Refurbishment of all warehouses to cater for future demands.
2008
Acquisition of Skeath Refrigeration business representing a diversification into temperature.
2008
Acquired Skeath Refrigerated Transport Ltd., rebranding to McArdle Skeath—and diversifying into temperature-controlled logistics.
2009
Phase 1 of new extension Warehouse 5 begins bringing site total to 10,000 pallet spaces.
2009
Granted Known Consignor license by the Irish Aviation Authority (IAA).
2010
Awarded Wholesaler Distribution Authorization by the Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA).
2010
Wholesale Distribution Licence attained from the Health Products Regulatory Authority.
2011
Rebranding of company to represent full portfolio of services.
2012
Phase 2 of warehouse 5 completed bringing site total to 16,000 pallet spaces.
2013
Phase 3 of warehouse 5 completed bringing site total to 20,000 pallet spaces.
2015
Acquired a 21-acre site in Hollystown, Dublin 15 to develop a new facility.
2016
Commenced building work on the Hollystown facility.
2018
Officially opened the new temperature-controlled warehousing facility in Hollystown—capacity reached just under 50,000 pallet spaces.
2018
Celebrated 50 years in business; opening attended by An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar.
